Núria Gich

I paint colors,
I paint textures,
I paint landscapes:
I paint emotions

I paint colors, I paint textures, I paint landscapes: I paint emotions

The passion to create and evolve pushes me to keep moving, to never stand still.

I now live in Lanzarote, where each day I open my gallery in Costa Teguise and paint, inspired by the striking contrasts around me: the greys and earthy tones of the volcanic land blend with the softness of vibrant flower colors, the deep blue of the sea, and the bright white of the houses.

This mix of colors and textures has become my current source of inspiration—connecting my homeland, the Empordà, with the volcanic soul of Lanzarote.  It creates a bridge between these two territories and opens me up to the world from a new perspective.

I began a project of six large-format paintings inspired by places that have left their mark on me through color: the ochres of Provence, the blue of Chefchaouen, the red of Marrakech, the Mediterranean whites, the greens of the Garrotxa... and the grey, which led me to Lanzarote—an island that captivated me so deeply, I chose to stay.
